Lausanne From Above

The stairs winded upwards, higher and higher until it emerged onto the top of the tower. The city of Lausanne was before us, seeming to spill into Lake Geneva in the near distance. Further away, the trees which were partially submerged in fog blended in with the horizon. Lausanne was quiet.
